Modification funds fire-control technical and engineering support

Public contract data states that the work will provide technical and engineering support for the SLCM-N fire-control subsystem, with approximately 75% of the effort in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and 25% in Manassas, Virginia. Fire control is an enabling subsystem, not the missile itself
A sea-launched nuclear cruise missile requires more than an airframe, propulsion system and warhead.
